Getting started

Pick a squad, score points when your players perform in real Bhutan Premier League matches, and outscore everyone else in your leagues. The manager with the most points at the end of the season wins.

Every decision — who you pick, who wears the armband, and when you make transfers — is yours. Use the sections below to understand the rules, then head to My Team to get started.

Build your squad

Build a squad of 15 players within a starting budget of 100.0 M$. Pick players from any club, but you cannot select more than 4 players from the same club.

Position limits

Your squad must meet the minimum and maximum player counts for each position. See the full position table in the Scoring section.

Good to know: Player prices change throughout the season based on transfer activity. Your squad value fluctuates accordingly.

Set your lineup

From your 15-player squad, choose 11 starters (your Starting XI) and set 4 bench players as cover. Only your Starting XI earns points — bench players score only if auto-subbed in.

Deadline & lock

  1. Your lineup locks 1 hour before kickoff each round.
  2. Save changes before the deadline — once a round goes LIVE, edits are disabled.
  3. If you miss the deadline, your previous lineup carries over automatically.

Auto-substitutions

If a Starting XI player doesn't play, the first eligible bench player (in bench order) is automatically substituted in before points are calculated. Your goalkeeper must occupy bench slot 1 to ensure a valid GK is always available for auto-sub.

Pick a captain

Designate one Starting XI player as captain each round. The captain's points are multiplied by 2×. Pick your most in-form or fixture-favoured player.

Also set a vice-captain. If your captain doesn't play, the vice-captain takes the armband and earns the 2× multiplier instead.

Make transfers

You get 1 free transfer each round to swap players in or out.

How to make a transfer

  1. Open My Team and go to the Transfers tab.
  2. Tap a player you want to remove.
  3. Pick a replacement from the available players list.
  4. Confirm and save before the deadline.
Good to know: Unused free transfers bank up to a maximum of 5. Additional transfers beyond your banked allowance cost 4 points each and are deducted at the start of the round.
Form:Average fantasy points over a player's last 4 team gameweeks (0 if they did not play that week). Use it when sorting players on Transfers or on Stats → Players.

Scoring

Points are awarded for goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, and more. Cards and own goals deduct points. The full scoring matrix below is admin-configurable and always reflects the current live rules.

How we define stats: The table below sets the points for each stat. For anything not spelled out here — the precise definition of what counts as a goal, assist, save, and so on — we follow the official English Fantasy Premier League scoring rules. For example, an assist still counts when the goal comes from a penalty or a deflected pass.

Squad Position Limits

Each column shows the minimum–maximum players allowed for that position.

Leagues & competition

Compete across multiple leagues simultaneously. You are automatically entered into:

  • National league — all managers in Bhutan Fantasy League.
  • Dzongkhag league — managers from your dzongkhag.
  • Club league — supporters of your favourite club.

You can also create or join private leagues to compete against friends, family, or colleagues. Invite codes make it easy to get a group together.

League affiliates

Anyone who can influence what happens on the pitch — registered players, coaches who coach on the pitch during matches, and match officials — must declare themselves when signing up. That means people who are directly registered and in the locker room and on the pitch on gameday. Club staff, family members, and fans are not covered: they enter by paying, and prizes stay open to them. Declared affiliates enter free of charge and compete and rank on every leaderboard. They are not eligible for any prize decided by match results, in any game mode. They remain fully eligible for referral rewards and referral prizes, which are decided by recruiting rather than by results. The declaration lasts for the season. If you stop playing or working in the league, you can change it in a future season. Affiliate teams are hidden from other users until every match in the gameweek has finished, so other managers cannot read lineups or injuries from those picks before kickoff. Failing to declare, or making a false declaration, voids the account and any prize. We may exclude any entry where a conflict of interest exists.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I edit my team right now?

Picks lock 1 hour before kickoff each round. Once a round is LIVE, your lineup is view-only until the round ends. Check back after the round is complete to make changes for the next gameweek.

When do my transfers reset?

You get 1 free transfer each new round. Unused transfers bank up to a maximum of 5. Extra transfers beyond your banked allowance cost 4 points each.

Why didn't my player score points?

Only your Starting XI scores points. A benched player only scores if auto-subbed in for a starter who didn't play, in bench-order priority. Check your lineup to confirm the player was starting, not on the bench.

What happens if I miss the deadline?

Your previous lineup carries over automatically. No changes are applied — whatever team you had saved before the deadline is the one that plays.

When are points updated?

Points appear as match gamesheets are processed after each fixture. Totals can shift while a round is being entered, so check back after all matches in a round have been completed.

I think a score is wrong — what do I do?

Flag it via the feedback panel before the round ends. We will review and may update the points. Once a round is finished, points are locked and cannot be changed.

What's the Weekly Challenge?

A one-off competition each gameweek — build the best XI you can for that round from scratch, with no long-term squad commitment. It has its own prize and its own scoring ruleset. Great for experimenting with players you wouldn't normally pick.

What is Predict?

A weekly game where you predict each match — the result or the exact score — plus a few bonus questions. Every point you score becomes a Lucky Draw ticket, and we draw winners at the end of the week (more tickets, better odds). No squad, no transfers.

How do leagues work?

You're automatically entered into the national league, your dzongkhag league, and your club's supporter league when you join. You can also create or join private leagues to compete against friends, family, or colleagues.

Disagree with a player's points? If you think we may have missed something, please let us know via the feedback panel. Submit before the round ends — we will review and may update the points. Once a round is finished, points are fixed and cannot be changed.
